The Wales Economic Growth Fund is a non-repayable Welsh Government grant aimed at helping businesses in Wales start up and grow.
A new phase of the Fund has opened inviting expressions of interest for gap funding of between £50,000 - £100,000 for capital and job creation projects.
The Welsh Government will be considering expressions of interest between 1 March and 5 April 2013.
The Welsh Government would like to emphasise that when submitting the expression of interest companies should be clear on the project parameters and the proposed outputs. With the key driver being jobs created or safeguarded.
Grants are paid in arrears, so it is very important that outputs are realistic and achievable as grants will only be received by the organisations once these outputs have been achieved.
The project must not have started yet and the costs, whether capital or salary should be defrayed by March 2014.
